The meeting was organized in honour to the Minister of Foreingn Affairs of Poland Mr. Radoslav Sikorski. There were many honourable guests on that day and here is represented the photoshoot made on that day.

A Little Poland in Armenia
Already in 1996 the community became an official organization. The first group of the Poles included only 60 people . These peolple knew each other very well.
And from that little group created nowadays' Polish community of Armenia POLONIA.
The president of POLONIA is Mrs. Alla Kuzminskaya. Mrs. Kuzminskaya did a huge job for the community.
Now in POLONIA there is a youth choir "GWIAZDECZKA"(in English it means "STAR"). "GWIADECZKA" took part in many festivals, competitions , semianrs and coures and won many prices.
In POLONIA there are also organised lessons of Polish both for the youth and for the grown-ups. Every year Polish teachers from Poland come to Armenia and teach Polish.
In Yerevan State Linguistic University due to Mrs. Kuzminskaya was opened a cabinet of Polish language, i.e. each year students of the University have the opportunity to choose Polish as their second language and study it.

Solidarity express was the part of official celebration s of the 70th annviersary of the outbreak of WWII.Solidarity express is organized by European Solidarity Centre in cooperation with Polish ministry of Foreign affairs.In program took part the members of Polish community in Armenia POLONIA Lia Sayadyan and Marianna Karakeyan and repsresented Armenia in Poland.It was a real trip in Poland(Krakow-Warsaw-Gdansk).
